For managers
Most people tell their manager before anyone else. Abble gives managers short training, plain guides and a clinician to call, so the first conversation goes well.
In a team of 40, there’s no wellbeing officer down the hall. There’s a manager who notices that someone has gone quiet.
We don’t ask managers to be therapists. We help them notice, ask, listen and point to care, and then step back.
A page from our manager guide. Most managers read it once, then say it in their own words.
Manager guide
About 10 minutes, somewhere private
1. Notice
“You’ve seemed quieter this week.”
Name what you saw, not what you think it means.
2. Listen
“That sounds like a lot. Tell me more.”
Leave pauses. You don’t need to fix anything yet.
3. Point
“Abble has people you can talk to this week.”
Offer once, clearly. It’s their choice and their privacy.
4. Follow up
“Can we check in again on Friday?”
Put it in the calendar. Ask how they are, not what they did.
A sudden loss, an accident, redundancies. Call us and a clinician will be with your team, on site or by video, within 24 hours.
Included on the Care plan. On other plans from $900 per incident. Sample prices.
Something else? Ask us on a call.
